game room in silverthorne home, luxury interior design by Kirkendall Design of Tulsa, OK

Today we are sharing Pt. 2 of our Silverthorne Project reveal, featuring interior design, furniture, and styling by Kirkendall Design in Tulsa, OK. If you missed Pt. 1, view it here.

This two-story Colorado home offers breathtaking views and combines mountain charm with traditional and eclectic touches. Let’s explore the downstairs walk-out basement which includes two guest suites, a kitchen/entertainment bar, and game room.

Gameroom

At the bottom of the stairs is the game room. The custom fireplace wall, designed by Kirkendall Design, features two-toned large-format tile with Schluter details in between each row. It’s the more modern of the two fireplaces in the home, resembling a luxury hotel or ski lodge. All of the furnishings are sourced from our exclusive vendors.

Downstairs Kitchen

To the left of the game room is a second kitchen with a granite table that has a honed travertine finish and doubles as an island. Display shelves showcase the client’s unique collections and complement the eccentric Einstein wall sculpture and original art. We also love the sleek full-height wine captain and refrigerator that are custom-fitted.

Guest Bedrooms

Since it’s a walkout basement, we opted for full-height windows in the guest bedrooms, instead of the usual small ones. Wall sconces take the place of traditional bedside lamps, adding a touch of luxury hotel charm. Both bedrooms feature neutral tones for the headboards and bedding and have versatile furniture for guests.

Guest Bathroom

The guest bathroom blends chalet style with a traditional twist. Stained Superior Alder wood cabinets add warmth, while the snowy silver quartz countertop is a nod to the surrounding Colorado landscape.
