Here’s Part 2 of our end of the year project highlight! Take a look at some of the transformations we’ve had the opportunity to be a part of! These showcase the range of our services, from new construction and renovations to furniture and styling. These are just a few of the projects we tackled in 2024—check out Part 1 here!
Farmington House Project
Project Type: New Construction + Furniture & Styling
Located in Northwest Arkansas, this custom-built home blends Southern charm with subtle European influences. Designed from the ground up, the 4,500-square-foot layout features an open-concept living area that connects the kitchen and dining spaces. We incorporated custom features and carefully planned the space to meet the needs of our client’s young family.
Highlights include designer lighting, unique ceiling beams, and custom white oak millwork. A walk-through butler’s pantry and pool bath add convenience, while each bedroom has its own ensuite and the laundry room connects directly to the primary closet.
The layout also features a large front porch and foyer, and two separate outdoor lounge areas in the backyard.
This new build is nearly complete, and we can’t wait to reveal the finished project!
Florence Park Project
Project Type: Bathroom Renovation
This 94-year-old attic bathroom was previously a poorly converted space with significant height limitations and a layout that didn’t meet our client’s needs. The renovation included a complete redesign with roof reconstruction, wall removal, skylight installation, and the replacement of the jacuzzi tub with a spacious two-person shower.
Inspired by the client’s love for travel and old-world architecture, the shower features wood-look tiles, pebble mosaic flooring, and Zellige-look subway tile. The cobalt blue hexagon floors contrast beautifully with the warm wood trim, reminiscent of a villa in Italy or Greece. We love how the final result embodies our client’s eclectic, globally-inspired style!
We’ve loved partnering with Chef Shannon Smith on previous spaces in her home, and our latest project focused on her dining room and new prep kitchen. With over 20 years of teaching cooking classes and hosting dinner events in her Tulsa home, this update was especially meaningful as it impacts the very heart of her home and business.
The prep kitchen was originally a small storage room off the main kitchen. Renovating an existing space like this comes with challenges, but our experienced design-build team thoughtfully reimagined the layout to create a highly functional prep kitchen, complete with a large island, commercial-grade appliances, and heat lamps for serving.
In the dining room, Shannon wanted the feel of a high-end restaurant, so we chose dark gray walls, black-and-gold lighting, and refinished parquet floors to create an elegant, moody atmosphere. Highlights include a faux-painted ceiling that mimics luxury wallpaper without visible seams, custom soffit mood lighting, and a branded focal wall featuring her logo on a gold faux leather wallpaper. The focal wall doubles as a display area for her specialty wines, spices, and oils.
