February is here and so is our annual Designer Date Night list!  Check out our local restaurant recommendations for 2020!  If you’re just joining us, we always share our favorite Tulsa restaurants this month but with a designer twist; The food must be delicious but the atmosphere has to be equally impressive.

Debbie’s Choice:

Chef Shannon Smith

“This is a hands on cooking class.  Shannon’s Valentine event is already sold out but upcoming classes will be posted on her website.  If you like to cook or would like to learn to cook, her class is very informative. Shannon is well-traveled and has worked with chefs all over the world to bring globally inspired cuisine to Tulsa.”

Heather B’s Choice:

JINYA Ramen Bar

“Our favorite date night place is Jinya. It’s unique, has a cute atmosphere and everything is customizable! My favorite is the chicken ramen with the roasted cauliflower appetizer! Yum!”

Heather W’s Choice:

Bonefish Grill

“We have been going to Bonefish for date night for many years. It’s not just seafood, although the seasonal fish is always good.  They have great steaks and the Lily’s chicken is one of my favs.  If you’re there for happy hour, try the Crispy broccoli too!”

Jayne’s Choice:

Red Rock Canyon Grill

“Consistently good quality and taste. Atmosphere can be for anyone who wants to get a little dressed up or just wear jeans and a sweater. Waitstaff is trained well and the service is excellent.”

Lindsay’s Choice:

Cafe Ole

“Sitting outside next to the fire is a must. It’s cozy, quaint and the food is delicious! Try the molcajete or the pork chile relleno…oh and a skinny margarita!”

Lindsay’s Galentines Pick: Vintage Wine Bar Downtown. Lindsay says they have “Chic interiors and great drinks with cheese boards and shareable plates.”

Lora’s Choice:

Charlestons

“On special occasions, we always go to Charleston’s.  The menu works for both of our picky eating and it feels intimate, even though the restaurant is always packed.  I also like that they offer call ahead seating so we can get on the waitlist before we arrive.”

Julia’s Choice:

Cheri Ann’s Trattoria

“This is an old house that has been turned into a restaurant. Very old school, authentic Italian restaurant with great food and a family heritage.”
