Ladies, we work hard! With all of the crazy in between schedules, the little things can often fall through the cracks. Whether it’s a quick fix around the house or an ongoing project, it’s important to get things organized before it’s actually needed. The ladies tool bag is the perfect bag to grab on the go, feel organized, and look cute while doing it.

Tool Bag Checklist:

  • First you need a tool bag (love the look of this leather bag from garrettwade.com)
  • Glue gun and glue
  • Zip ties (good for wreathes, garland & banisters, etc)
  • Nails (variety)
  • Hammer
  • Tape measurer
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Sharpie and pencil
  • Box knife
  • Scissors
  • Screw driver (flat head and Phillips)
  • Wire cutters
  • Lint roller
  • Goo Gone
  • Pens to touch up wood (come in different wooden colors)
  • Needle nose pliers
  • Wire
  • Glue dots
  • Felt

This is just a basic list of items that we find helpful for most tasks. Depending on your specific needs, you may want to include more items or remove a few that aren’t used.  If you have kids, adding a few batteries to your tool bag for toys and games can be a life saver. If preparing a tool bag before the holidays, it would be good to add some green and natural colored pipe cleaners. These assist in blending ornaments into trees and wreaths. Having two pairs of scissors is also a great idea. Designate one pair for ribbon cutting and the other pair for everything else. This will help prevent your ribbons from having frayed edges.

The whole purpose of the bag is to simplify the demands of life and the small stresses that come from everyday projects. Hope this helps you prepare for the months ahead.  Is there anything you would add to the list?
