The Story Behind the Logo
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Upon the rebranding of the company website, Julia Kirkendall, owner and principal designer of Kirkendall Design, wanted a logo that represented the company’s belief that “good design is as personal as your own signature.” Fascinated by the unique connection to the receiver, Julia was always drawn to the idea of a wax seal. Reminiscing on her childhood, Julia recalls that “we see seals being used in many ways in our country so when designing a logo for Kirkendall Design, it was natural for me to be attracted to the seal because it represents how personal each design project is for our clients.” The wax seal represents the personal detail and finishing touch on a handwritten letter and anyone who has received a wax-sealed letter will vouch for the added excitement that comes from opening something meant especially for them. “We believe that good design should be as personal as your signature, and creating spaces for our clients that are both as personal and unique as a wax-sealed letter is a fulfilling experience for us all.”
