Jayne

Senior Designer

Jayne is the fashionable co-worker who always has a witty comeback at the ready. She enjoys online shopping and has a great sense of how colors and patterns work together. Her ability to research and find anything online helps us source the most unique decor, textiles and furnishings for our clients. She can design a room so that it’s not only camera-ready but also current and stylish and completely about how the client will be using the space. In her spare time, Jayne likes to binge-watch a good true crime series, garden (to take her mind off of said true crime series), and play games with family and friends.

Note to self:

Lindsay

Senior Designer

Having previously owned her own construction company, Lindsay has an in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of a home from framing to plumbing and electrical, foundations, etc. This gives her a unique skill set when it comes to drafting plans and 3D designs, as well as communicating with our construction team for a seamless implementation of our designs. Look out, because Lindsay has also been known to pick up a trowel or nailgun, or run the miter saw when the opportunity arises, she has true grit and loves to get involved in building!

Now, Emily works on our design team, helping to enhance our client experience from start to finish. She’s also KD’s unofficial software/systems educator and supports our admin, marketing, and construction teams, offering valuable input and aiding in administrative processes. She and her husband have two young children, who regularly make adorable appearances at our virtual team meetings.

Mary

Marketing/Business Development

Before coming on board at KD, Mary was a marketing and communications powerhouse in the non-profit world. She then started doing freelance marketing for small companies, providing strategic communications and social media marketing services. She even worked for a professional organizing company, which has proven to be a valuable asset in our fast-paced design firm. When not at work, Mary loves spending time with her husband, Tayden, and daughter, Paislee, as well as shopping and sprucing up her (most likely) already perfectly decluttered home.

Max helps with a multitude of tasks on the job and around the office; installing, painting, making deliveries, overseeing the warehouse, all while finding new things he is uniquely suited to dominate. His ability to work efficiently and his constant desire to learn enables the team to run like a well-oiled machine.
