Who’s ready for sweater weather?? Our design team has gotten in the fall spirit this week and compiled a list of what we’re seeing trending. From neutrals to color, here’s what we’ve got our eyes on this fall!
This neutral palette combined with natural accessories is giving us all the fall feels. We would add extra pillows to transition from fall to winter, keeping the same soft palette in mind.
Brushed brass is everywhere in the world of interior design and has been dubbed the “rebellion against minimalism.”
We had a good laugh over this brass toilet paper holder/cell phone caddy….the rebellion against the magazine rack, if you will. It certainly solves the problem of dropping your phone in the toilet!
We’re loving brushed brass light fixtures…
We’re also noticing mixed metals in drapery hardware, where the rod and rings are mismatched. Just like with jewelry, it’s fun and right on trend to mix metals.
Green is going to make a huge comeback this fall. You can add a punch of green to your existing decor with accessories, art, throws & pillows. For an organic touch of green, incorporate living plants to your spaces.
This is the time of year where nature provides inspiration and beauty. Fill those gathering bowls with acorns, leaves, pinecones, pine needles and all the things that are readily available, courtesy of Mother Nature herself. We have a weakness for matte white and natural wood together.
Bold Textures & Patterns
Wallpaper, in every shape and size, is making a huge comeback (think metallic grasscloths, modern geometrics, and big bold motifs).
Deconstructed geometrics, where patterns take on a faded, more relaxed look, will continue to show up in our rug selections.
We’re picturing this Turkish rug in a neutral, transitional kitchen. Perfection!
We saw velvet try to make an appearance in summer fashion (did anyone jump on that bandwagon?) but it’s always been a proven winner in fall interiors. Nothing says fall like this woven, tufted fabric.
Lastly, it wouldn’t be fall if we didn’t talk about fall tablescapes. Look at this living runner made of fresh greenery and real pumpkins… Traditional with a twist! Love that they embellished the table all the way down, from end to end; Such an inviting spot to brunch!
