Part of the fun of driving to your destination is taking in all of the scenery. But if you have a really long road trip ahead and kids to entertain, you may want to come prepared with some sight-seeing games. Here are 14 suggestions that even the adults will enjoy playing: Road Trip Games
Long hours in the car + food + feet can equate to a pretty ripe smelling car interior. To combat the miscellaneous odors, come prepared with an empty trash bag to contain any trash that needs to be disposed of at the next stop. Plastic grocery bags work great for this and can be stashed in the glove box until needed. We also recommend bringing an air neutralizing spray. You don’t need anything scented, as the smell might be too overpowering for some passengers. Look for one that neutralizes odor without the fragrance.
Cue up your favorite music or podcast. All it takes is one song to bring back a thousand memories and there’s a podcast for everyone! Bring multiple earbuds for multiple passengers so everyone is happy!
It’s not a road trip until you stop at ______________. Maybe it’s loading up on snacks and a Big Q from QuickTrip, or maybe it’s finding a snow cone stand that serves pickle-flavored snow cones. Either way, a road trip is not the time to skimp on calories. YOLO!! It’s also a good idea to keep some bottled water and quick snacks in a cooler for in-between stops.
Pillows and blankets help make the hours in the car more comfortable and can also be used once you get to your destination. Disinfectant wipes are also a road trip must!
And away you go…. !!!!
