The use of light neutrals as a main color is being replaced with colors with deep rich hues like black and Kelly green. Having dark walls with light drapes and furniture make a bold statement and provide sophistication. With all these deep tones it’s no wonder pops of color in pillow cases, vases, and other accessories have become pretty common.
Cozy textures like velvet and faux fur will really warm up your room this fall. Fabrics like silk will add a touch of class and add a softer feel to all of the warm tones. Earthy tones like natural pieces of wood will warm up grey and white accent colors and layer another texture into the room.
With all of the rich coolers and warm textures, it’s no wonder layering is popular this season. Incorporating jewel tones is also quite common. Oriental rugs are still a trending item, and old patterns with new colors are a must.
